Weejee Learning Hires Chief Operating Officer to Join Executive Team

Marc Crawford Joins Weejee’s Team to Manage Operations and Propel Growth

Marc Crawford, Weejee COODurham, N.C. – August 1, 2013 – Weejee Learning, a global provider of custom e-learning solutions, expands its executive team with the appointment of Marc Crawford to the role of chief operating officer. Crawford will oversee day-to-day activities, lead and manage the company’s creative and operations teams, and set priorities for the implementation of innovative methods of content delivery.  Crawford reports to Ian Huckabee, Weejee’s chief executive officer.

A respected industry veteran, Crawford joins Weejee with more than 14 years of experience in e-learning, information technology and software development. Most recently, Crawford served as vice president of software development for rmsource, Inc., where he was responsible for software development, project management and business development. Before joining rmsource, Crawford served as chief technology officer at Performance Impact, where he led the transformation of a historically instructor-led business to a true blended learning design consultancy, including e-learning, simulation, gaming methodologies and LMS consulting.

“Our operations and IT play a critical role in the innovation, creation and delivery of the kinds of solutions our clients expect from us,” says Huckabee.  “Marc’s strong experience in e-learning operations and the management of software development initiatives will enable Weejee to maintain a keen focus in the key areas of program management, design capabilities, IT infrastructure management, scalability and growth, and account relations.”

Crawford’s hire is part of an aggressive growth plan for Weejee, which was founded in 2010. The company gains new clients and continues to develop new value through fun and engaging learning.
